Reliable collaboration and steadier anchoring

Improved

  • Improved world-anchor stability for persisted spatial scenes. Long-press the Digital Crown to recenter, take the headset off and on, or stay in a session for a long time, and the saved scene no longer drifts out of place as ARKit refines its anchor estimate.

Fixed

  • In physical-tracking modes (image marker, reference object, or active tracker), rotating or scaling the model as the session host now updates for everyone live, as you do it. Previously a rotation only appeared on participants' headsets after you moved the model.
  • Undoing a drawing stroke no longer clears all strokes for the other participants — the strokes that remain stay visible on everyone's canvas.
  • Strokes drawn after an undo continue to sync to collaborators.
  • Restored streaming on iPad end-to-end. Tapping Connect now shows progress, a streaming session starts reliably, and the bottom-right logo no longer blocks the End Session button.
  • Cloud-launch failures on iPad (region at capacity, app still preparing on the server, etc.) now surface as a readable alert instead of silently bouncing you back to the workstation list.
  • iPad now stays logged in across launches; previously the device-code screen reappeared on every cold start even when credentials were still valid.
  • Connecting to older cloud workstations that do not run Spatial Runtime no longer hangs indefinitely; the client now falls back to a direct CloudXR connection after a short probe.
  • Fixed a crash on visionOS 26.5 that could occur when opening Render Settings or switching between Graphics API options (Vulkan / OpenGL / GPU Raytracing) during a streaming session.
